Paul Waterman

Went to St Olaf after Murray - was poorly focused (to say the least), Summers I worked at a YMCA camp in northern Wisconsin. Became a Hippie for a decade or so. Ended up In Northern California where I worked at a treatment center for emotionally disturbed kids. Moved back to MN from N. California and worked at a similar treatment center here in Duluth. Met and Married Sharon and we became house parents in a group home where we lived with 8 emotionally disturbed, chemically dependent, and/or juvenile delinquent teenagers. Our first born, Hannah, spent her first 4 and a half years in that group home setting – she is now a social worker. Then we did foster care for teens in our own home while I worked with violent men in The Domestic Abuse Intervention Project in Duluth with Ellen Pence where I was the Men’s Program Coordinator. Then I worked as a Job Counselor with public assistance recipients for 21 years 7 months 3 weeks and one day. Retired from that then went back to it part time at Lake Superior College in Duluth. In the mean time Sharon and I had 3 delightful offspring (now one Daughter in law) and then got back involved in theater. I have come to greatly value the world I have known and know and I look forward to seeing all the Pilots that will make it to our reunion.
